Spreadsheet |
| To help with assessing DiDA at FGS we initially used a spreadsheet with all students on and the sections like planning etc in columns. As sections were marked the results were shared with students fairly openly. This provoked a lot of competition (emulation might be a better term) |

Marking |
| The advantage with the spreadsheet is the link to the eportfolio. These are stored on a webserver and can be accessed from the Internet for marking. the address is so complex that accidental discovery is unlikely. We are moving them behind a pasword soon. |

Database |
| More recently we have switched to using an ACCESS database. the form is similar to the EDEXCEL marking sheet and the data base is used with a mailmerge in WORD to produce a filled in marking sheet detailing what needs to be done to improve the mark. This is the most effective as it gives about a week to 10 days of work/instructions. Re-marking consists of looking at what you said and what they have done about it. |
